|I suppose I have been paddling surf skis for over 40 years now and have watched it grow, grow and grow.It is now time to put back a little into the sport on the admin side and what better way to do it with what I know is the best water sports clubs in the world PWC.
Look forward to working with committee to make the surf ski section a really meaningful contributor to the club
|MARINE AQUARIST||Tommy McGee And Nikky Felgen|
|Tom was the Owner of Clubsport and has been a Porsche motor car specialist for over 38 years. He sold his business in 2013 and is now semi retired.He has always had a passion for the ocean and has owned a boat since he was a young boy. Tom is a fisherman at heart, but is also a boat skipper, an advanced scuba diver and an aquarist.
On returning to South Africa after living in Europe, the USA and North Africa for more than 23 years. Nikky Felgen joined the education centre at Ushaka as a volunteer guide, became an advanced diver and got her boat skippers licence. She says that meeting Tom after a personal tragedy was the best thing that ever happened to her.
It seemed like a natural process to try and get the Aquarist Club at DUC up and running so that they could share their love for the ocean and particularly get the message of sustainable utilisation out there, so that future generations can also enjoy what we have today
